Preliminary data for POLYP was found using the Litter Intelligence Website where POLYP publish their waste colection initatives online.
The data for plastics and foamed plastics is collected and converted from grams to kilograms.
The data is them summed per year and included in the final 'Plastic Waste Collected from the Environment' Table
POLYP: Limitations
The limitations of the data from POLYP from the Litter Intelligence is that its likely not complete with some missing initatives. This can be overcome by receiving data from POLYP directly.
