The Moana Taka Programme by Swire Shipping is the only avenue for plastics recycling in Fiji which is done by exporting waste to Vietnam or Australia.

The type of plastics includes PET, HDPE and LDPE but the exact data on the percentages or seperation is not available.
The stakeholders providing the plastics is Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited, Green Waste Recyclers, JPT Enterprise, Zee Steel Recycling, Mission Pacific and Pleass Global, but the exact data of where the plastics comes from is not available.
